Newest Police Car from Ford is a Truck

For decades police departments around the country have chosen Ford models as their main mode of transportation. But, just because the Ford Crown Victoria is no longer available, don't think that mean Ford is out of the squad car business.

This summer the carmaker announced their latest police-ready vehicle and it's our favorite truck here at Stevens 112. The Ford F-150.

The 2018 Ford F-150 Police Responder will be available to police departments across the country next year. It's a crew-cab, four-wheel drive F-150 with a 3.5-liter EcoBoost V-6 engine that offers 375 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque.

The police F-150 will also come with a 10-speed automatic transmission, and it will be able to carry approximately 2000 pounds in its bed and tow 7000 pounds.

To try out an F-150 designed for civilians, stop by Stevens 112. We have a huge selection of brand new F-150 trucks available, as well as a several nice pre-owned models.

Stop by soon and let our sales team introduce you to America's number one pickup truck.
