This fall, the newly updated 2018 F-150 is coming to Patchogue, NY. Aside from style changes that bring the F-150 closer to its F-Series Super Duty siblings, the biggest updates are to the engines.
The base 3.5-liter engine is being replaced by a more efficient and more powerful 3.3-liter V6. The 2.7-liter EcoBoost gets a boost to torque, bringing it up to 400 pound-feet. The selection of five gasoline engines will be joined by the F-150's first diesel engine the following spring.
